I’m Mario and I would like to help Prototype be the leading voice for smart engineering in Europe. But it goes deeper than that. It’s about relentless advocacy for investors, businesses, and builders. To help them connect and move forward. Across borders because the innovative spirit knows no bounds.
To help government and media see the existing talent and opportunities. Not just through pitches, presentations, and lobbying, but through vivid storytelling and acting as a sharp, trusted concierge to connect them with the right people. Not just here and there. Nonstop.
There are multiple fronts to work on. EU Inc. is a big one, and I highly respect your team’s work. My cousin worked in Brussels as an assistant to a Parliament member and told wild stories of the challenges in making meaningful progress for member states.
I know advocacy. It began for me in 2008 when I joined a sustainable business conference led by TED’s first event manager, KoAnn Skrzyniarz. We needed to kickstart community growth across multiple channels, consistently publish media, and be the hub for our members, partners, and journalists.
New York then called. Their influential urban planning organization needed me to install a CRM and wrangle all their memberships, donations, events, newsletters, publishing and more. My boss Christine Tripoli, another star event organizer with the Super Bowl and a range of experiences under her belt, taught me this: It’s all a nonstop show to bring everyone together under a common cause. Help connect people and ideas together through ongoing communications and service.
Das war mir schon innerlich längst bekannt. Mein Vater war Elektroingenieur und meine Mutter war Motelinhaberin neben Disneyland in Kalifornien. Die wichtigste Lehre, die sie mir beigebracht hat, war: “Be resourceful and helpful to others”. Und das genau habe ich in meiner vielfältigen Berufserfahrung in Logistik, Verkauf, Marketing, Medien und Webentwicklung gemacht.
Seit 11 Jahren lebe ich mit meiner Familie in Bremen als Klein-Investor und mit projektbasierter Arbeit in Tech. Es läuft, aber ich sehne mich danach, wieder etwas Spannendes und Wertvolles zu tun: mit einem Team, das für die Zukunft und die Interessen von Investoren und Firmen kämpft, die nicht nur Europa, sondern der Welt etwas Innovatives anzubieten haben.
